About me ~ Website creator
Name: Kristina Hansen
To spread messages of hope, sympathy and love to the family of little Bianca Leduc. To bring a community together in one place to mourn the loss of such a small innocent life.
I am full-time a mother to two beautiful little girls aged 5 and 1. We are happily expecting our third child in April 2008.
In 2006 I chose to become a stay at home mother and remain home with my children. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and also the hardest. It is a full-time job with many ups and downs, but it is the most rewarding job I have ever had. I pride myself on being able to spend as much time as possible with my children, watching them grow every day and seeing their smiling faces is a wonderful thing.
I am also the owner of my own on-line business, Pixie Patterns, selling my own sewing patterns. It brings in some extra money for our family every month, and keeps me busy. I love working from home and feeling I still can contribute financially.
It is a relatively new venture, but so far it has been working out wonderfully.

I have done a lot of research regarding support programs
and benefits in Quebec and Canada. In 2004, as part of a large research
project, myself and 4 colleagues submitted a 21 volume directory to
Dawson College's Social Service Program, in Montreal, based on
extensive research into Child Support Programs, Benefits and
Prenatal/Parental Support Programs. The directory is still available to view in the Social Service Department.
on previous research, government websites, personal experience and
other sources of information, I have was able to carefully put
together this site for parents and parents-to-be in Canada in 2005-2006, with an
emphasis on Quebec and Montreal. The information in all the sections are always
updated to be as current as possible.
this information as a basic starting point and guide, parents can now
be informed on their rights, entitlements, how to proceed and where to
go for support and more information.
